CANTERBURY ASSOCIATION. JUNIOR TOURNAMENT. . The Canterbury Croquet Association's annual junior tournament will take: place on the United Club'* grounds in Hagley Park, on Tuesday. Tho president, Mr E. J. Koss, will open- the tournament, which begins with the handicap doubles at 10 a.m. The entries art very satisfactory, and there is every hope for a most successful tournament. BARRINGTON V. OPAWA. A junior B match was played at Opawa on Wednesday between Opawa and Barrington, the latter winning by one point. Results (Barrington names first) : Doubles—Mesdames McGimpsey and Clark 5, Mesdames Robson and Herbert 26; Mesdamos Giddens and Cooke 26, Mesdames Kane and Bull 22; Mesdames Memmott and Whito 26, Mesdames Tregurtha and Mapplc beck 22. LIN WOOD V. ELMWOOD. A friendly match was' played on Thursday at Linwood between Linwood and Elmwood, resulting in a win for Linwood. Those present were Mesdames Cowper, Lee, Ostler,, Col';man, Wilson. Boddington, Vnutier, Dalrimple, Williamson, Allan, Neil, Lennie, Eaeterbrook, Smith, Sutcliff, and Sutton. RANGIORA V. CASHMERE. A junior A flag match played on tho Rangiora courts, on Wednesday, between tho Rangi - ora and Cashmere Clubs, resulted in a win for the home team by one game.
