«ME AND MY «AL.'» "Me and My Gal," the fox comedy-drama, which will begin at the Majestic on Monday, is played by & brilliant and competent cast* the story holds interest from beginning to end,, and -tho. direction is all that could bo demanded^ Joan Bennett and Spencer Tracy, who have not appeared together in a picture since they were co-featured, in "She Wanted a Millionaire,", enact the loadins roles, and both civo refreshing characterisations. "Me and My Gal" depends, for tho greater part, on its comedy. Tho dialogue is truly amusing, and a few of tho situations are of side-splitting quality. Miss Bennett and Mr Tracy are supported by a cast that includes many favourites. Splendid work is dono by J. Farrell Macdonald in the role of the irrepressible father, Marion Bums as Misa Bennetts sister, George Walsh as the cscuped convict,- Henry B. Walthall as the paralytic, and Noel Madison in one of the crook roles for which he is famous. . The picture was directed by Kaoul Waisii and it is one of his best efforts.
