"SINNERS IN THE SUN." "Sinners in the Sun," a romantic drama, played against a scintillating background of wealth and beauty, will be the next feature at the Theatre Royal, beginning on Saturday. It introduces Dcautiful 'women in goitrous owns' lavish settings of millionaire's homos U and clubs; and it expounds the old yet new theory that marriage lor money alone will not succeed. "Sinners in the Sun" should »atisry the most discerning audiences, for it has an unusual story-that of a girl who married for money becstise she wished to, and of a, man who married for money to tleiy the gill he loved. The background 01 the film depicts vividly the hectic gaiety of the restless rich, and through it all is an undercurrent of real romance and true love. Carol Lombard is the star of this swift, spectacular story 01" the problems, longings, and temutations of an attractive working girl -a "irl who thought she could follow the dictates of her mind instead of her heart. Miss Lombard has already put herself conspicuously before the public with a number of unusual roles, and her popularity will be increased greatly hy her new characteriIn support of her, in the leading male role, is Chester Morris. He 13 a handsome, broad-shouldered young man of some impelling dramavio talent, and he too gains further laurels in "Sinners in the Sun. Also in the cast are Alison Skipworth, who was so highly praised for her work in "The Sporting Widow" (seen here recently), Adrienne Ames, and Waller Byron.
