FARMER'S BANKRUPTCY.
NO QUORUM IN ATTENDANCE. Because there was no quorum present, a meeting of creditors of Archie Clarence Critty, a bankrupt farmer, Le Bon's Bay, called for yesterday morning, lapsed. The unsecured creditors were owed the sum of £248 14s 7d and the secured creditors the sum of £65 17s Gd, making the total debts £314 12s Id. The assets amounted to £l6 15s, leaving a deficiency of £297 17s Id. In his statement bankrupt stated that the slump in wool and dairy products, and in addition, illness in his family, were responsible for his position. ITe had no prospects. j In adjourning the meeting sine die, j the Official Assignee (Mr J. H. Robertson) stated that there appeared to be nothing left for the creditors. J
