BURGLARY CHARGES.
FIVE MEN REMANDED. (MESS TELEGEAV.) WELLINGTON, September 9. Edwin George Roberts, aged 23, a labourer, and Raymond Patrick Letton. aged 26, a labourer, were remanded to-day till September 21st on a .charge of breaking and entering Lauchlan and Co.'s shop in Courtenay place and stealing jewellery valued at over £3OO.
Letton was similarly x-emanded on a charge of breaking and Entering the warehouse of Henry Schneideman and stealing clothing valued at over £l2l. Amadeo Joseph Millanta, aged 23, Thomas Fearon, aged 34, and Ronald Donaldson, aged 24, charged with breaking and entering the shop of Charles Norman Smith at Petone, and stealing jewellery valued at £65, were also remanded to the date mentioned.
