UNPAID DEATH DUTIES.
PENALTY REDUCED. (PRESS ASSOCIATION TBLBGB.VM.) WELLINGTON, September 8. - The Gazette contains an Order-in-Council fixing the rate of interest on unpaid death duties. They are as follows:—For the period commencing at the expiration of three monthß after death until the expiration of twelve months after death, 5 per cent, per annum. From the expiration of twelve months after death 5$ per cent, per annum. [The previous penalty on unpaid death duties was 10 per cent, per annum.]
