LODGE MEETING.
Bro. C. J. Holmes, N.G., presided over a very good attendance of members in the Oddfellows' Hall, Riccarton, last evening, when officers and members of the Loyal Addington Lodge were welcomed. Bro. Harris, E.S., responded for the Addington Lodge. A recommendation from the social committee that the annual social lie held in the form of a dance, was granted, the matter of arranging a date being left in the hands of the committee It was reported that the fortnightly social was again well attended The chairman of the Hall Committee (Bro. A. Biggs, P.G.) reported that the application for a subsidy on the workers' wages had been granted by the Unemployment Board, and alterations and repairs were now in progress. Bro. E. Eldridge gave a report on the quarterly meeting of the U.F.b. Dispensary. Bro. H. Exton was elected to the Hall Committee.
