Mrs Bonney, the first woman aviator to attempt to fly round Australia, left Camooweal at 7 a.m. yesterday, reached Daly Waters at 1.30 p.m., passed Pine Creek at 4 p.m., and arrived at Darwin at 5.15 p.m. She had a trying flight on account of grass fires, which caused an artificial horiaon, % and difficult air conditions. Her flight has been kept secret. She is overhauling her aeroplane to-day. and leaving tomorrow for Perth, via Wyndham and Litchfield.
