theatre royal. ♦ "FOLLOW THROUGH." ' 'follow Through," which will be presented at the Theatre Koyal this afternoon and evening by the J. C. Williamson Musical Comedy Company, is notable for the cle\c-r work of the principals, Miss Madge Klliott and Mr Cyril Kitchard. There are jealous bickerings between Lora Moore (Madge Elliott) and Ruth Van Horn (Jean Duncan) over Jerry Downs (Frank Leighton), the professional golfer. Downs is employed oy wealthy Jack Martin (Cyril Ritchard) and his main duty is to follow tho dictates vi his paymaster, but affairs of the heart must work their havoc. Jerry soon finds, 1b.».Jack's humorous blundcrings are. hfs love ™ ffairs, and the inevitable spin comes Jack, however, is the perfect optimist, and his beneficent sW4tegy brlß »* Lora and Jerry together again " tle perfect, conventional ending Any bashful ness possessed by Jack Martin who » ladjsliy and stutteia, is soon banished by his experiences at the Bound Brook Country Ciub, and one of the best bits of delight in the whole show appertains to the legating of his heirloom ring, which be has piesented to a female party of whom he knows nothing while at a masquerade. The. aupporting members of the company aie uniformly good in their parts a-nd assist to build up Recombination of solid strength. The season will conclude this evening, s.nd the company will leave on Monday lor Wansanui, and later Hastings and Palmerston Isorth, to open in Auckland on August 27th.
