ACCIDENT IN EGYPT.

The death is reported from Khartoum of Mr J. Stewart Moncrieff Paul, tho 24-year-old Assistant District Commissioner at Wan Dedani, 100 miles up the Nile from Khartoum. Mr Paul, who was the son of Brigadier-General Ernest Paul, a former Director of Works in the Mediterranean, Egypt, and Palestine Expeditionary Forces, was accidentally electrocuted while trying to rescue a prisoner working in the club's, garden from contact with an overhead electric cable.
