The Department of Agriculture has receded the following cablegram, dated August 6th, from the High Commissioner for New Zealand, London: TALLOW. Market shows very little change. Sisal—Market quiet but steady, with rio material change in value. New Zealand—Market unchanged, with no fir&t-hand sales reported. EGGS. Market steady, with firmer tendency. No change in prices. FRUIT. Apples—Trade slower, with tendency weaker. Granny Smiths show signs of scald. English apples in the market, also American Gravensteins. Current prices for New Zealand apples;— Granny Smith, 14s to 20s; Dougherty and Rokewpod, lis to 13s; Yates. Sturmer, Tasma, Pioneer, and Koine Beauty, 10s to 12s; Jonathan, Delicious, and Ballarat, 10s to lis; Statesman, 9s. to lis; Brighton, 6s to Us; Dunn's Favourite, 9s to 10s; Edward Lippiatt, 7s; Salome (wasty), 4a to 6s.
