CRYSTAL PALACE.

"GYPSY BLOOD." ••Gypsy Blood," the British International version of Bizet's famous opera "Carmen," which heads the new bill at Crystal' Palace, is pleasing both musically and dramatically. The heroine is represented by Marguerite Namara, who displays all the fire and passion for which the character calls. Thomas Burke very ably represents Don Jose, and his fine tenor voice easily copes with the impussioned solos in his part. Lance Fair/ax is admirably cast as Escamlllo, the toreador, and his singing of the toreador song was marked by the fire and spirit that this stirring number demands.
