CRYSTAL PALACE.
* "GYPSY BLOOD." "Gypsy Blood," the British International version of Biret's famous opera "Carmen," which heads the new bill at Crystal Palace, is pleasing both musically and dramatically. The heroine is represented by Marguerite Naraara, who displays all the fire and passion for which the character calls. Thomas Burke very ably represents Don Jose, and bis fine tenor voice easily copes with the impassioned aolos in his part. Lance Fairfax is admirably cast as Escamillo, the toreador, and his singing of the toreador song was marked by the flre and spirit that this stirring number demands.
