VTOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, at a J3l Special Meeting of the Cheviot County Council, held on Friday, the Bth day of July, 1932, the following resolution was passed and will be submitted for confirmation at the ordinary meeting of the Cheviot County Council to be held on Friday, the 12th day of August, 1932, at the Council Chambers, Cheviot. THE RESOLUTION. "THAT, whereas Clause 74, Part VII., of the Cheviot County Council By-laws, 1924, provides that no person shall drive a motor through Mackenzie township on the Main road betweon the Jed bridge and the junction of Ward and Levin streets at a greater speed than 15 miles per hour; and whereas the Cheviot Oounty Council desire to restrict the Meed of motors over such portion of the Main road to 25 miles per hour, only; now, therefore, this Council, by way of a Special Order, hereby amend the said Clause 74, Part VII,, Cheviot County Council Bj-laws, 1924, to restrict the speed of Motor Vehicles on the Main road between the Jed river bridge and the junction of Ward and Levin streets to a maximum of 25 miles per hour." PROPOSED AMENDED LY-LAW. PART VII., CLAUSE 74:—No person in charge of a motor shall drive such motor on any Council road recklessly or negligently at a speed or la a manner which is dangerous to the public, or through the Main road in the Mackenzie Township (Cheviot) from the Jed bridge to the junction of Ward and Levin streets at a greater speed than 25 (twentyfire) miles per hour.
