Messrs G. Worledge and A. H. Champion (Auckland) ar6 guests at Warner's Hotel. Messrs J. H. Davys, W. S. McKlnlay (Wellington). .1. W. Samson (Dunedin), and F.. Mitchell (Invercargili) arc guests at the United Service Hotel. Tho Chief Justice, the lit. Hon. Mcllroy to the Canterbury and Weßtland branch of the Federated Association ot superannuated public Servants was carried at the annual meeting yesterday, when Mr Mcllroy retired trom tjie offico of vice-president at the age of 88 years, on account of illhealth. Mr. D. H. S. Buddie, New Plymouth manager of the National Insurance Company, has received notice of transfer to the Cliristchurch office of the company. Mr Buddie will leave early in the coming month for the south. J* D.
