COLLISION CASE.
DAMAGES AWARDED. (PRESS ASSOCIATION . TELBGBia.) WELLINGTON, July 29. The jury awarded £347 4s 7d special damages, aiid £325 general damages in a claim arising out of a collision at a Newtown intersection, in which Mrs Irene Addis Smith was knocked down and injured by a ear driven by Mrs Caroline Prismlla Purdie. Mr Justice MacGregor refrained from entering judgment for Mrs Smitn in the meantime, pending argument on a non-suit point.
