OXFORD MOVEMENT LECTURES.
A lecture -will be given in the Jellicoa Hall on Thursday, August 4th, by Mr W. Nash, M.P., on "The Social Gospel of the Oxford Movement." To measure the •worth of the great movement's contribution to the caufe t>f eoelal righteousness, one must needs know somethinar of its leaders, and of its work How much has it attempted? How far has it. been successful f What could it do more? What of the future? Mr Nash's opinions on these matters should bo of interest and profit. The Mayor and City Councillors have accepted the committee's invitation to be present.
