In "One Hour With You" lio wlipscra all his previous efforts. Wiih hin> in Jeanette Macdonald, Gonevievo Tobin.and tho hilariously funny Charles Kugglos and iiolund Young. Mias Macdonald is almost as well known as Maurice Chevalier. Tho btory is brimful of the most piquant situations. It concerns Dr. And to Duval (Maurieo Chevalier), who loves Colette (Jeanetto Macdonald), Ins fascinating wife, so much that, when he finds himself lalono in the Paris taxi with a bcautihd stranger (Genevieve Tobin), he promptly guts out and walks homo in tho rain. But the stranger is not to bo disposed of quito so easily. She turns out to be Colette's best friend, and determines to becomo her best friend's husband's best friend, too. In "One Hour With You" there arc some wonderfully catchy hits, which include "We Will Always l>o Sweetheaits" and "What a Little Thinj,' T.ike a Wedding Ring Can Do," by Maurice Chevalier and Jeanette Macdonald: "One Hour With You," "What Do You l>o," and "Oh! That Mit/.i," sung by Maurice Chevaliir; and "Three Times a Day," sun;; by Gonevievo Tobin and Maurice Chevalier. Tho is by Oscar Strauss. A feature of tho show is its superb mounting. Tho supporting programme includes a British and an Australian News Reel and other attractive - offerings.
