Talcing tho Blotlisloe Cup, tho All Blacks sailed by the Zealandia this afternoon. They had a rousing send-off by liugby Union officials and friends. Tho team was bidden farewell earlier at tho Hotel Went.worth, when tho Cup was presented to Mr W. J. Wallace, on behalf of tho New South Wales liugby Union, by tho president, Air H. D. Wood, who remarked that the team was ono of tho youngest and cleverest ever sent to Australia. The players had been equally popular on and off the Held. Mr Wallace, acknowledging the sentiment of tho presentation, said he was extremely sorry to leave Australia. Tho hospitality waa so wonderful. Othor speakers at tho farowell were Sir James Parr, Mr W. Hill, and Mr L. J'. Schmitt (New Zealand Trade Commissioner in Australia). Tho All Blacks had a jolly time last night at tho Sydney Univorsily Sports Union's ball, whore they were tiie guests of honour. Tiny black caps wore perched on tho side of their heads. They danced their own creation, an "All IJlack's Ballet."
CANTERBURY UNION. CHRISTCHURCH Y. 'VARSITY. A bright game sliouli ho witnessed at Lancaster Park to-day, -when 'Varsity and Cliristchurch meet for the second time this soason. In the absence of its All Blacks, Cliristchurch ■will field a changed side, hut some of the most promising players in the Club •will be given their opportunity and it is likely that a good team •will be fielded. 'Varsity are in training for their annual match -with Victoria Collego and will, no doubt, be in form. On tho South ground a close game should result between Albion and Linwood, while on the West, Athletic and Old Boys will bo seen in action. An early game, starting at 1.15 p.m. will bo played on the oval between the third grade teams of Linwood and Aranui, which should prove a good attraction.
