THE UNIVERSITIES.
CAMBRIDGE TRIPOS LISTS. (FBOM Ovr OWN cobresposmnt.) LONDON, June 24 Miss D. M. Norman-Jones, Newnhanj College, has taken a First Class in Natural Sciences Tripos, Part I. She is one of six women in this group. Miss Norman-Jones belongs to Wellington, and arrived at Cambridge in the autumn of 1929. Her subjects are Natural Sciences and Medicine. She is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs A. NormanJones. , Mr A. H. McDonald, Clare College, has taken a First Class in the Classical Tripos, Part 11. He belongs to Auckland, and his parents are naturally greatly gratified to be in England at the time their son's distinction has been officially notified. Mr T, W. Eeed, Jesus College, has taken a Third Class in the Historical Tripos, Part n. Mr Reed belongs to Pahia, Bay of Islands. June 21st was General Admission Day at Cambridge, when successful candidates in the recent Tripos examinations 'and others proceeded to their degrees. The names of three New Zealanders appear in the Bachelors of Arts list, by proxy: Thomas Walton Eeed (Jesus), John Henry Francis Sugden (Jesus), and John Boucher Nanson. Mr Nanson belongs to Christchurch and Mr Sugden is an Old Boy of Christ's College.
