PROMOTIONS AND TRANSFERS. (PBESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) WELLINGTON, July 15. The following promotions and transfers in the Police Force have been approved by j;he Commissioner, Mr W. G. Wohlmann: — Detective Jarrokl, Wellington, to detective sergeant. Constable cantlon, Mokau, to ■ sergeant and transferred to Wellington. Constable Brady, Kaiti, Gisborne, to sergeaut, and transferred to Auckland, replacing Sergeant Classen, recently transferred to Port Ahuriri. Constable Farrell, Rawakawa, to sergeant, and transferred to Auckland, to replace Sergeant Felton, who takes charge of the Freeman's Bay station,: in succession to Sergeant Fitzgerald, retired.
