Cottrell (Canterbury), J. Hore (Otago), E. R. C. Steere (Hawke's Bay), 11. F. McLean (Wellington), J. E. Manchester (Canterbury), G. W. Purdue (Southland), T. C. Metcalfe (Southland). The team is reported to be very fit. Australian Team. Sevoral changes have been made in the Australian team since it was selected last Saturday. Steggal is replacing Ross, who strained the muscles of a thigh, and W. White will play in tho threequarters line, and M. White in the forwards. The team will be as follows: — Full-back: Steggall. Tho Cliristchurch-Sydenham game, which has prido of • place on the Oval to-morrow, should be a splendid struggle brimful of interest. in the first round the game between these two teams proved most exciting, Sydenham w inning by 11 points to 9. The senior competition is now at a most interesting phase, and although Sydenham are at the top of tho ladder, they will have to fight very hard to hold their position. On the South Ground another bright game should be seen between Old Boys nnd Albion. On the West ground thb third grado teams of Aranui and Paparua will meet at 2.45 p.m. Rugby Park will be the venue of the Merivale-Limvood game. On the No. 1 area at the Show Grounds, 'Varsity will meet Athletic ; and on the adjoining ground a senior B game between Merivale and 'Varsity is set down for decision. The curtain-raiser at Lancaster Park is between the second-grade teams of Bvdenham and Athletic.
