WOMAN FOUND DEAD.

« —~ (PBK33 ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) KOTORUA, June 30. Death in a lonely house on the shores of Lake Kotoehu overtook Muriel Ida Angell, a married woman, some time between 8.30 a.m. on Saturday and 5.30 p.m. on Wednesday. Her little daughter, two and a half years of age, was found asleep beside her when the husband of the woman made the tragic discovery on Wednesday evening. When discovered by her husband, Mrs Angell was lying upon the bed fully dressed. The body disclosed no signs of violence. The husband had left home at 8.30 on Saturday morning, and did not return until after dark on Wednesday. The house is situated in a very lonely spot on the shores of Lake Sotoehu, and tho nearest neighbour is three miles away, which probably accounts for the fact that the death of the woman was not discovered earlier.
