HOUSE DESTROYED
A six-roomed house owned find occupied by Mr C. Lindsay, on the west belt, Rangiora, was destroyed by fire at about 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon. At the time of the outbreak, there was no one in the house. Mr Lindsay is a married man with a large_ family, and be is a heavy loser, all nis household property having been destroyed.
