THEATRE ROYAL. "DAUGHTER OF THE DRAGON.'* Three famous portrayera of Oriental ciiaracters on the screen—Anna May Wong, Warner Oland, and Sesaue Hayakawa—appear in the Paramount picture "The Daughter of the Dragon," at the Theatre Royal. If one likes mystery, romance, and action, is to be found in this remarkable picture, which is set in London's Chinatown and two country mansions. Fu Manchu, believing, mistakenly, that the deaths of Bome members of his family were brought about by an Englishman, Sir John Petrie, determines never to rest until he. has wiped out that family. Gaining access to Sir John Petrie s house, Fu «Manchu manages to poison hinl by the use of a drug, but before he is able to escape from the building he is fatally shot. Prior to his death he makes his daughter swear an oath that she will kill Sir John's son. Complications follow, but before the worst can happen, Scotland Yard officials straighten things out. There is a splendid supporting programme, ' including * the scenio "The City of Monks," & Paramount comedy, entitled "It Ought to be a Crime," and the screen song, "Gallagher and Slieen."
