CANTERBURY ASSOCIATION. ' WILDING PARK TO BE CLOSED ON SUNDAYS. A decision to close Wilding Park for Sunday play for the winter months was made at a meeting of delegates to the Canterbury Lawn Tennis Association last evening, when Mr PR. Harroan preside*; The holding of the 1932-38 New Zealand tennis championships at Wellington was also discussed. The Wilding Park Committee reeommended that the park should be closed for Sunday play forthwith, for the winter months. It also recommended that when tournaments were held at Wildr ing Park a charge of Is should be made lor parking cars in the area set aside for the purpdse. - l " The recommendations were adopted. The secretary (Mr R. Browning) reported that the 1932-33 New Zealand championships would be held in Wellington, provided the Wellington Association could make the necessary arrSlMr W.
