Prisoners sentenced in the Supreme Court to-day were: Edward John Watson, 29, forgery and attempting uttering and theft, six months' imprisonment on each charge, concurrent. ' Charles Henry Freeman, 30. attempted unlawful carnal knowledge at Panneyirke three years' hard labour. Edward Roy Hawkey. 30, indecent assault,vtwo years' hard laoou*. • _ John Rupert Lawrence and Thomas latrick Cuttle jointly charged with theft, six months' hard labour, Kenneth Joiseph Payne, 21, breaking and entering with intent to commit a crime,/and breaking and entering and Jtfj * two years Probation, and or-, dered to pay costs, and repay £2. -• William Alexander Crossan, breaking and entering and theft, and found by f/.ffU in P° sses sion of housebreaking instruments, and escaping from custody,, two years' hard labour. _i nomas Leslie Alexander, 23, breach of probation two years* hard labour, concurrent with his present term.
