CANTERBURY ASSOCIATION. REMITS FOR DOMINION CONFERENCE. The Canterbury Fruitgrowers' Association mot last night, Mr E. Freeman presiding over a large attendance. The following remits were adopted for submission to the Dominion conference of the Fruitgrowers' Federation: — "That the selection of directors be by postal vote." (Mr F. W. Cone.) "That in view of the low prices received by growers all costs be considered and reduced wherever possible." (Mr W. E. Davidson.)
