DISLOYALTY DENIED.

—V SOUTHLAND P. AND T. OFFICERS' ASSOCIATION. I i (rasas association telegram.) INVERCAEGILL, May 18. At a meeting of the Southland section of the Post and Telegraph Officers' Association this evening, the following resolution was carried:— The Southland section of the Post and Telegraph Officers' Association deplores the Government"® action in characterising members as disloyal, whereas loyalty and responsible citizenship are our first and foremost considerations. We assure the business community that organised coercion is not part of our policy, and that their sympathy and not their animosity is required in tho furtherance of our salary grievances and other proposals for the economic benefit of the community as well as ourselves. As our Association ■is non-political and is not responsible for individual action or opinions, we ask that the recent restrictions be removed so that our constructive efforts may be continued without hindrance. •
