PAPANUI SCHOOL COMMITTEE,
The Papanui School Committee met on Monday night. Preserajb:—Messrs W. Sandford (in the chair), S. Craighead (secretary), C. Dyer (treasurer), F. Claridge, R. Donald, R. Henderson, A. Nettleton, and G. Wray. To enable the committee to meet the expense of the dental clinic, it was decided to adopt the recommendation of the Clinic Committee, and to make a charge of 2s 6d per child per annum, with a maximum of 5s per family. It was moved that the Social Committee be called together to discuss ways and means of raising funds, and that •an invitation to attend this meeting be extended to the school staff. Messrs W. Sandford and C. Dyer were appointed a visiting committee.
