The London elementary schools show a drop in number of pupils cf 129,995, as compared with just before the war. This is due to the falling birth-rate. An. eight-day -watch, no bigger than a threepenny-piece and over 100 years old, is one of the priceless treasures of the Worshipful Company of Clockmakers.
