Tho following are the movements of Union Company vessels engaged in its intercolonial cargo service:-—' • -- Tho Gabriella, from' Newcastle, -was to have-left Sydney oh. Saturday ' for Napier, Wellington, Mir'amar, Westport, and. Greymouth, and returns thence to Sydney. , Tho Kaltngo, from Adelaide, left Melbourne fast Friday for Auckland, Napier, Wanganui, and Greymouth, and returns to Sydney and Newcastle.- She is duo at Auckland on Friday.,. • The Karetn, from Newcastle, left Sydney last Friday, for Fiji, Tonga, and Auckland. Sho is due at Auckland on May 24tli. The Kartigi is to leave Port Chalmers on Friday for Bluff and Greymouth, thence to Melbourne and Adelaide. She will then load at Adelaide,' Edtthburg. and Melbourne, for Auckland and Portland. The Waikouaiti, from Newcastle and Sydney, is due at Bluff to'day, thence to Dunedin, Timaru, Lyttelton, and Oamara, to complete discharge and to load for Sydney. Tho Wainui. from Wellington, left Bluff on Monday for Melbourne, to load for Bluff, Dunedin, Lyttelton, and Wellington. She is to clear Melbourne on May' l«th. OTAKI TO LOAD. The New Zealand Shipping Company has received advice that the Otaki left Sydney last Thursday for Tokomaru Bay, where Bhe is due to-day to commence her Homeward loading. , She will later complete at Gisborne and Wellington, and -,is to clear Wellington- finally on May 19th for London. • PERSONAL. Captain K Wilson is in command of the Canadian Challenger, which arrived here yesterday from Halifax, via Auckland and Wellington, and his officers are:—Chief, Mr 1. T. Williams; second, Mr P. W. THE HERMINIUS REPORTS. The Shaw, Savill, and Albion Co. have been advised that the Herminius, en route from London in ballast, is-expected to arrive at Bluff on Friday morning.
