YOUTH HOSTELS.
ASSOCIATION FORMED. At a well-attended meeting last evening of delegates from various tramping organisations in Canterbury it was decided to form a body to be - known as the "Youth Hostel Association of New Zealand." Sir Arthur Dudley Dobson was m the chair. Miss Cora Wilding reported on her visits to Le Bon's Bay, Port Levy, i Jgepn Bay, Okain's Bay, Akaroa, Puvaudiellc, and Hill Top, where she made amuigoments for the accommodation of trampers affiliated to the Association Tho following officers wero elected : President, Sir Arthur Dudley Dobson; vice-presidents, Mcsdames Cracroft Wilson and Tripp, Miss Jacobson. Sir Heaton Rhodes, Professors Arnold Wall and Macmillan Brown, and Messrs *'. Milner, H. McD. Vincent, and R. M. hon. secretary, Miss N. ftjeAulny; hon. treasurer, Mr W. A. Hammctt.
