DEATH OF COUNTY EMPLOYEE.
VERDICT AT INQUEST. A verdict that death was due to bronchial pneumonia, resulting from hemorrhage from a wound in the throat, self inflicted while in a state of deep mental depression, was returned by the Coroner, Mr E. D. Moslev at the inquest last evening into the'death of Joseph Walter Blanche. Blanche was a married man of 40 vears of age and lived at Birdling's plat. He was an employee of the Wairewa County Council. Blanche was found with a wound in his throAt at his home on Wednesday morning, and aflcr receiving attention from Dr. Trail, of Little River, was ordered into the Christchurch Hospital, where he died yesterday.
