SHOPLIFTING.
SISTERS SENT TO GAOL. (PRESS ASSOCIATION TIXEGBAM.) AUCKLAND. March 17. Gladys Annie lleeve, aged 34, married, was sent to gaol'for one month, and her sister, Eni'i Gasparich, :.gecl 3i, married, was sent to gaol for a fortnight for shoplifting. The former said that the latter was under her (Reeve's) influence. The police declared that the women had no. need to steal—one had over £6 with her, and the pther over £3— and said that shoplifting was becoming as common as drunkenness in Auckland. ,'
