ADMIRAL BYRD'S PLANS.

L\ Byrd, addressing tt*&pbrers Club, revealed that on his fcrtboeoing expedition to the Antarctic itwtcsus to establish a sub-base in the sterior of the continent at the foot of lie Queen Maude mountain range and n*s& the Polar winter there making MKBiifie observations. It m disclosed that he has already sianed active preparations for the next tHp. "Frienda have promised a ship for it," he said, "and already I have 35 tau of Msorted equipment at Boston X»*y Yard."
