CRYSTAL PALACE.
"THE SRIDiiR." "The Spider," at the Crystal Palace Theatre, deals with the deepest mysteries of [.tychology, and only weak touches of humour, fortunately rare, spoil what is otherwise an intensely gripping picture. Edmund Lowe plays the part of the benevolent magician with real insight, and the story of his love for the beautiful Lois Moran is churmincjly told, although kept subservient io the fine plot. Intriguing mystery dominates the picture. Another short drama on the programme ia characteristically British and good.
