AUCKLAND SPEEDWAY. (PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGSAM ) AUCKLAND, January 38. Tho brilliancy of the American cinder track rider, K. Tauser, wa3 the feature of tho broadsiding events at Western Springs to-night. Tauser, who made his first appearanco on the Auckland track, won all bis events except tivo. In the first semi-final of the open Summer Handicap he experienced engine trouble, and in the final of the special big nine event ho was beaten by N. Key and R. Frogley, both of England. Key in the first semi-final of the special big nine event established r. track record of lmin 18see. The principal results were:—■ Mutch Races —Tauser beat Key. Time, lmin 19 2-ssec. S. Tauser beat Frogley. Time, lmin 20sec. Special Big Nine—Key 1, Frogley 2. Time, lmin 21 2-ssec. Summer Open Handicap—C. Goldberg (30yds bhd) 1. T. Butler (25yds bhd) 2. Time, lmin 23 2-ssec. B Grade Championship—J. Cormack J, C. Morgan 2. Time, lmin 24 4-ssec.
