Wedding. A Tfcdding of interest v.-as celebrated a: Bimu, when May Louisa, third daughter of Mrs and the late Mr J. Maunder, of Hokitika, and Stuart, second son of the late Mr S. Ogilvie and Mrs D. Evan, of Bimu, were married. The Rev. Father O'Dohcrty officiated. The church v,as decorated for the occasion -with Watsonias and pale pink roses. The bride wore an ankle-length frock of unite crepe de chino with panels cf georgette. Her embroidered veil Mas held in position by a circlet of orange blossom. She earned a bouquet of Madonna lilies and carnations, with sprays of maidenhair fern and gypsophila. Miss P. Maunder attended as bridesmaid, and wore a shell-pink georgette frock with Bangkok hat of the same shade trimmed with flowers. Her bouquet was or pink and lemon carnations and asparagus fern. Mr Keith Ogilvie was best man. After the ceremony a reception was held, Mrs Maunder wearing a smart frock of black satin relieved with white, and a black and white hat. Later, Mr and Mrs Ogilvie left oa their honeymoon tour, the bride waring a navy costume and navy panne velvet hat.

The scores were close, and wine exciting finishes wer» witnessed. Sonanga proved the victors by 19 sets (195 games) to Kcef ton's 13 sets (168 puses). Swimming. The Greymouth Swimming Club held a short programme at the Municipal Baths yesterday morning, there being a fair attendance of spectators. Results were as follows: Hen's 33 l-3yds Handicap—Final: K. On Saturday and yestcrdav-the West WWt Cricket Association's fixtures Wre played in ideal weather, the grounds and wickets being in the best of order. In the Saturday's competition matches united defeated Runanga on the first n»ing s -by IS2 runs to 137. For United, Gilbert, not out, scored 121. playing an almost faultless innings. Jer Eunanga, Wilson 33, and Williams 29 were best. Playing at Cobden on Saturday, Coboen and Star drew. Cobden went to we wieket first, and after compiling 185 for four, declared (Mcintosh -not *nt 70). Star had on 108 for eight *n«kets when time was called, O. Moriw 45 being best. In yesterday's competition in the A division, Marist and United A drew at °»oto. Marist batted first (McDiarasid 52, Matthews 01, Morris 49), a total of 133 for eight wickets being registered.
