Roy George Cudby was sentenced by Mr Justice Smith . to-day on five i charges, including burglary and escaping from custody. Counsel said prisoner had been in hospital'for eye trouble, but by escaping he had deprived himself of the necessary treatment and in conse- , quence had lost the sight of his left oye.
