INDUSTRIAL PROSPERITY EXPECTED. LONDON, November 30. "When I hear about boatloads of stuff comiiig in, while wo are sitting here, causing more unemployment, I ask myself whether I am a lunatic and everybody else is sane," saicl feir William Morris, president of tho League of Industry, at a mass meeting under the League's auspices at Nottingham. "Foreigners aro already squealing where we hare not yet applied duties, because the weak-kneed havo bigger tariffs against Britain than anybody, lie continued. "I hope I hear them squealing a lot moro in the future. They must have thought that we aro wonderful fools to bear it so long. "It would not surprise me to see a boom within a year, if wo can get tho Government to perform its duties and face the heavy responsibilities necessary to permit of a return of prosperity.
