RIGHT FOOT INJURED. S. £. Grubb, .aged 19, living at 216 Matson's road, had his fight foot injured while working at the Health Pood Factory in Papanui yesterday morning, and was admitted to the Chriutchureh Public Hospital. HURT AT WOOD CUTTING. While cutting wood yesterday afternoon, Francis Archibald, a married man, of 209 Milton street, Sydenham, hurt his left hand. In the vidinty of Sinclair Head, Henry Beard, whose home is in Brooklyn, is believed to have lost his life through drowning at about 5 o'clock this afternoon, when a dinghy capsized about 150 yards from the shors. He was last seen clinging to the bottom of the upturned boat drifting out to sea, and when an Italian fishing launch arrived from Island Bay about two hours later, there was no trace of either the man or the boat.'
