OLD-TIME DANCE. An old-time dance will be held in the Oddfellows' Hall to-morrow night. Music will be supplied by Messrs B. Demichcli and W. Jeffreys, Personal. Members of the staff of the Lyttelton Post Office met recently to present one of their number, Mr W. P. Cain, with an easy-chair on tho occasion of his marriage. Tho presentation was made by the Postmaster, Mr «?. N. Neville, who conveyed the wishes of the staff for the recipient's future happiness. Th Rev. E. Ilanna, vicar of Hinds since 1927, hiis accepted the cure of Lyttelton Holy Trijiity Church. The "Church News" reports that a memorial tablet is to be erected in Iloly Trinity Church, Ijyttelton, to the memory of Canon Coates, who was for so long the vicar. Shop Broken Into. During Sunday night tho premises of J. Mahar and Co., drapers, London street, were broken into. A quantity of socks and ties was stolen and a few coppers were taken from the till.
