KNOCKED OFF BICYCLE. "While cycling in Retreat road, Avonside, on Saturday afternoon, 11. M. Kingsford, aged 50, of 90 Falsgrave street, was knocked off his bicycle by some cyclists who were out training. He received head and leg injuries and was admitted to the Christchurch Public Hospital. Ho had been riding homo last night and there are signs that he was thrown off his horse while opening a gate leading to his uncle's farni, where he lived. It is believed that his horse tlien dragged him some distance. His nnclo was asleep and was unaware of tho tragedy till he was informed this morning.
