The course, waa; of half, A mile, starting a;t corner and finishing at the,, Christ's College toatshed. The Avon Club is the ' present holder of the banner./. " At the conclusion of,;the afternoon, Avon and Union had, each , acoi'ed four ' points', and Canterbury two. Avon won the maiden four-oar and the senior double' sculls, Union the youths' double sculls and the light-weight maiden'doubles, and Canterbury thfv junior ""double, sculls.
