GENERAL BRAND.
KING'S AIDE-DE-CAMP. (Barnsß orricnx wirklkss.) (Received December 4th, 5.5 p.m.) RUGBY, December 3. Brigadier-General C. H. Brand has been appointed an aide-de-camp to the King in "succession to Brigadier-General C. 11. Foott. Brigadier-General Charles H. Brand, D.5.0., has- been Quartermaster-Gen-eral, Australian Military Forces, since 1930. He served in the South African War and the European War (Dardanelles and Western Front) and was mentioned eight times in dispatches. His wife is a Queenslander. Brigadier-General Cdcil H. Foott. is an Australian, holding the position or District Commandant, Victoria. Jie joined the A.I.F. in Egypt in 1910, and served on Gallipoli and in France (dispatches seven times). He was A.D.C. to the Governor-General or Australia, from 1926' to 1929.
