The annual social of the Ashburton Agricultural Association- for the presentation of cups and trophies won at the last annual show -was held in the Tancred street Hall last evening, when there was a good attendance. The president, Mr IL C. Barton, who presided, made the presentations and congratulated the prize-winners.
