CHRISTMAS TOURNAMENT. The fiouth Christchurch Christmas tournament, to be' played on the Beckenham, Barrlngton', fend Sydenham greens, promises to be a successful function. All arrangements are well In hand, and the greens are looking -well. The hours of. play on Christinas Bay have been arranged that One and three-quftrter hours will be allowed for Chyistmas dinner (13,30-2.15 p.m.), which Will give practically all local players An opportunity Ot proceeding hotto fop this event. • Visiting' pla? 6 " will also bo enabled to return to their fcotelM. Rinks will be played on Cluistmaa Day and Boxing Day up to 12.30. Post-sectional pliy will take place on the afternoon or Boxing Day. t All teams ard thus assured 01 six games. Sections ■will be divided into eight teams, and in the event of a tie »eotlott winners will be found by a game 01 six heads. The semi-flnals will bo 16 heads, and finals of Zl heads. The prizes are £B, £4, and £2. , , ~ The patfs tournament will be played on Monday, December 28th, and entrants are assured- of four games.
