CANADIAN TOUR PROPOSED. INVITATION TO TEAMS. (UNITED PREdS ASSOCIATION-BT ELECT3IC TELBGBAPH—COPYRIGHT,) (Received Decebe? 3rd, 7 p.m.) OTTAWA, December 2. The track and field teams of the nations competing at the Olympic Games at-Los Angeles next summer will be invited to visit Canada en route for home, and to stage a series of international meetings in the larger cities. This is , the decision of the executive of the Amateur Athletic Union of Canada. It will be one of the greatest track tours ever arranged if the European, Australian, New Zealand, and South African teams accept the invitation. The tour will probably, start at Vancouver, and extend as far east as Montreal.
