The timely assistance of Mr T. Rotana, a Maori employed as a grader operator, was responsibly for saving four men from a burning car near Paeroa during last week-Mid. The car, which was proceeding to Tuuranga was driven by Mr C. Lord, who was accompanied by three friends. At a point on a sharp bend within 13 miles of Paeroa, tho car apparently failed to take tho curve and fell into a ditch.
